This unique group of percussion artists, led by the talented Ustad Harkirat Singh, has in the UK successfully synthesized what was for years considered an accompanying instrument, into a dramatic and truly vibrant accolade to percussion. The Chakardar Tabla Ensemble gives the tabla centre-stage and deservedly so – the rhythm, drama and intricate complexities of this remarkable instrument are surpassed by none other.

The group’s vibrant young artists have been thrilling audiences up and down the country for over two decades at various leading venues including Royal Albert Hall (in the presence of HRH The Prince of Wales), The Leeds College of Music; Regents Park; The Beck Theatre in Hayes and The Victoria and Albert Museum.
